2019for LDSPS has been a year of observation and attention. This came after a very intense year in 2018, in which the team of LDSPS knew very severe  impact (death, injuries, forced displacement) added to the sudden ending of one of its main funding sources (the decision at the end of 2018 of the MoFA of The Netherlands to stop all of its funding for non-humanitarian action inside of Syria, resulting in the abrupt termination of the contract with LDSPS) and the shrinkage of its geographical operating areas with the Syrian regime forces backed by their Russian and Iranian allies taking control of Eastern Ghouta and Daraa in the south of the country
